16 week session: Primary, Level 1 - Level 3 plus, and Variations, Choreography, and Repertoire
August 21st- December 15th
Winter Demonstration: Friday, December 8th 6:00-8:00PM
12 week session: Creative Ballet
August 21st - November 13th
Winter Demonstration during class time on November 13th
Levels of Participation:
*Dancers en pointe: 3 classes/week.
*Dancers that participate in competitions: 4 hrs of classes each week (5 hours for YAGP).
*Once dancers reach level 1, it is recommended to take two classes each week. Primary dancers are also welcome to take the beginning level 1 class with teacher permission.
Monday
4:00-4:45 Creative Ballet (Ages 5&6)
4:45-5:45 Primary Ballet (Ages 7&8)
5:45-7:00 Level 1 Ballet Advanced (participated in level 1 previously or by teacher permission)
Tuesday
4:00-5:00 Level 2 Beginning (Passed a Level 1 exam, In addition to taking Level 1 Advanced, or as a pre-pointe/pointe class)
5:00-6:30 Level 3 plus
6:30-7:30 Variations, Choreography, and Repertoire (Levels 3 plus)
Wednesday
4:00-5:00 Level 1 Beginning (Ages 8+ or by teacher permission, or as an extra class for primary students)
5:00-6:30 Level 3 plus
6:30-7:30 Variations, Choreography, and Repertoire
Thursday
4:00-5:00 Level 2 Advanced (Passed a level 1 exam or as a pre-pointe/pointe class)
5:00-6:30 Level 3 plus
6:30-7:30 Variations, Choreography, and Repertoire (Level 3 plus)
Dates to Remember
Classes begin Monday August, 21st
No classes Labor Day Monday September 4th (All dancers may take any class for make-up during the rest of the week-except Creative Ballet)
Open House: October 23rd-26th
Fall Assessments: November 13th-16th
Thanksgiving Break November 20th - November 24th
No Thursday Classes on December 7th
Winter Demonstration Friday December 8th (times TBA)
Winter Break begins December 15th
Classes resume January 8th (Classes for competition to be announced over the break)
Dallas Ballet Festival February 15th-17th
Tentative Spring performance dates April 26th and 27th
